Not pretty but wheels well. Body is an ’80, rust
free frame was swapped in from an ’83. Body is
rusty and ain’t no show queen but not horrible for
a CJ. Engine is a ’68 AMC 343, completely rebuilt
about 3 yrs/2400mi ago. No expense spared,
have about $8,000 worth of receipts and docs for
all engine work done and parts used. Bored .020
over, heads and block decked .005, crank and rods
turned .010, House of Balance balanced rotating
assembly. Full Comp Cams hydraulic roller
valvetrain, ARP hardware, Offenhouser intake, 670
Holley truck avenger. The trans is a Tremec T176,
centerforce dual friction clutch, backed by a Dana
300. Narrow-track Dana 30 and AMC 20, with 3.73
gears, both have chromoloy shafts and lunchbox
lockers. M.O.R.E anti wrap bar. Flexes well. Comes
with hard top, full and half doors, bikini top and
quick cover.
