World War II Script GPW JEEP (Ford) 19421942 Ford GPW fully restored with all original parts and runs well, Triple matching on engine block, frame and glove compartment data plate. As many are aware, most WW2 jeeps out there are not matching.. If you want a jeep that LITERALLY looks like it crawled out of a WWII French barn, As he mentioned, this jeep is not frame off mint, should you want that I am sure there are some available. I would list it as a very good original WW2 GPW jeep made in Chester PA and dated JULY 24 1942 on its data plate. I personally desired a GPW jeep that had ‘ the look’ and also being a FORD. I actually purchased this jeep after speaking with this G503 member. He has a lot of experience with many military vehicles. I think it’s time to turn it over to another collector who will love it as much as I did.
