What is a Jeep Jamboree?

  • Jeep Jamborees are off-road adventure weekends organized by Jeep Jamboree USA. They combine the great outdoors, down-to-earth people, and capable Jeep 4x4s.
  • The first Jeep Jamboree was organized in 1953 by 4×4 pioneer Mark A. Smith, who led a group across the Sierra Nevada Mountains via the old Rubicon Trail.
  • Jeep Jamborees became a popular tradition (true to this date) when Willys Motors (the manufacturer of Jeep vehicles at the time) became a part in 1954.

2024 Event Schedule

  • For 2024, Jeep Jamboree USA is offering a record 49 trips!
  • The events span the country, from the 20th Texas Spur in March to the 5th Death Valley in October.
  • Whether you want to explore the red rocks of Moab, the fall colors of the Catskills, or the coastal dunes of Oregon, there’s a Jamboree for every terrain and season.
