Jeep Jamboree – 23rd Silver Valley

Set in the heart of the world’s largest silver-mining region, this Jamboree starts off in Mullan, an old mining camp on the National Historic register. Travel up old military wagon trails that wind their way through the beckoning Idaho Panhandle National Forest. There’s lunch on a mountaintop with unparalleled views of Idaho and Montana as the backdrop. Weather permitting you will enjoy an evening cookout in the scenic setting of Shoshone Park. Arrive early and you can even take a tour of the area with the Mayor of Mullan himself!

To help improve public transparency, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Coeur d’Alene Field Office would like to clarify motorized route authorizations regarding Jeep Jamboree USA’s Special Recreation Permit (SRP) for their Annual Silver Valley Jeep Jamboree event on BLM public lands in North Idaho. BLM is not issuing Jeep Jamboree USA special permits to travel in streams or creeks. The event’s authorized SRP only allows for motorized travel to occur on authorized motorized routes as identified in the SRP event route plan. While operating on BLM, no motorized cross-country travel is to occur. BLM is not authorizing trespass or uses of lands not managed by BLM.

The event is finished.
